My First Siberian

My Trip to Poland to pick up my first Siberian. What an experience I had, Warsaw is a very beautiful city. There is so much history there and wonderful people that are proud of the country and the architecture work that they have there. It's beautiful place to visit. I want to thank Patrycja the the breeder of my Ellayne for such a wonderful Siberian.

Siberian Breed

If you where walking through the forest of Siberia and saw a slight movement in a tree, you might have seen a shadow, and then you look through the binoculars. That is where you would first get a glimpse of the Wild Cat, a glimpse only a few would see in a life time. He or she was probably getting ready for a day of rest after the night hunt, or feeding on the remains of a kill. As time went by, and people leaving the big cities in Russia for a more remote lifestyle many bringing along their domestic cats, some settling at the edge of the forest. The Wild Cat on his nightly hunt or just roaming around, as all cats do, would wonder into the village breeding the domestic cat. That was the beginning of the Siberian Breed as we know them. Genetically these cats have been around for at least one thousand years. The Siberian is a natural breed and is the national cat of Russia. Many other countries have loved and enjoyed them for many years. The first three Siberians were imported into the USA in 1990 from St. Petersberg. The Siberian is far from a wild animal. They are such a lovable unique feline that has a wonderful temperment and are surprisingly smart and very cleaver. This is only a few things that describe this wonderful breed and this is why their popularity has increased and their demand is high.
